Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Lean turkey (93% fat)
  • 1/2 cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Green pepper (seeded, finely chopped)
  • 1 Garlic clove (minced)
  • 1/2 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 Egg (large)
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup (no-sugar) Additional 2 tbsp for topping
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment or lightly grease.
  2. In a bowl, mix turkey, vegetables, garlic, oats, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire, herbs, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Press mixture into the loaf pan and smooth the top. Spread 2 tablespoons ketchup on top.
  4. Bake 45–55 minutes, until cooked through and juices run clear.
  5. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
    Serving size 1/6 loaf (3-4 oz)
