About 30-Minute Meal
Welcome to 30-Minute Meal, where quick, nourishing recipes meet real-life health needs.
I’m Cris Angus, a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition and the founder of this site. My mission is simple: to help you create meals that not only save time, but also support your energy, metabolism, and long-term health.
Why This Site Exists
Like many people, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to balance health and daily life. Living with multiple sclerosis since 1997, I’ve spent decades learning how nutrition can directly impact energy levels, inflammation, and overall well-being.
Through my education and clinical training in functional nutrition, I’ve developed a deep understanding that what we eat truly matters—but it also has to be practical.
That’s why every recipe on this site is designed to be:
- Simple and approachable
- Made with real, whole-food ingredients
- Ready in 30 minutes or less
- Supportive of blood sugar balance and overall wellness
My Background
I hold:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition from Purdue Global University
- A Master’s Degree in Holistic Nutrition from the Academy of Healthcare Sciences
- A Graduate Certificate in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States
- A Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Western States
In addition to my formal education, my personal journey with autoimmune disease has shaped my approach to food in a meaningful way. I understand that every individual is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to health.
