Spicy Pomegranate Mocktail

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Orange juice
  • 2/3 cup Pomegranate juice
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup (organic)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger (ground)
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 16 Ice cubes (divided)
  • 2 tbsp Rosemary sprigs (fresh, if desired)

Method
 

  1. Add the orange juice, pomegranate juice, maple syrup, vanilla, ginger, and cayenne to a shaker with 1/4 of the ice. Shake for 10 to 15 seconds to combine.
  2. Fill a glass with the remaining ice and strain the mixture in. Stir gently.
  3. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary, if desired. Enjoy!
    Serving size = 1 cup

Notes

Spice up your evening with this mocktail and get a little boost of vitamin C and ginger to boost your immune system!  Enjoy this sweet and spicy beverage with your favorite appetizer.
You can try different garnishes such as orange slices, pomegranate seeds, or a cinnamon stick to slightly change the flavor and appeal. Rim the glass with a blend of cinnamon and sugar.
