Have a well-stocked kitchen
Items to have in your kitchen to help with easy food preparation include an air fryer, crock pot, and/or Instant Pot, food-processor, a few good knives, non-plastic cutting boards (I use two – one for meat, and one for everything else to avoid contamination), a variety of herbs and spices (for increased nutrients and flavor). Your pantry should be stocked with whole-grain options like rice (brown, jasmine, or wild), whole wheat pasta, canned beans (black, garbanzo, pinto, etc.), and chicken, beef, and vegetable broths (bone broth adds extra nutrients).
